FastLane Technology enables you to get the most from your WiFi connection. The basic concept is that it provides a high WiFi connection with a specialized band linking your WiFi router to your repeater and a second band linking your WiFi device to the extender directly.

  1. Using an Ethernet cable, connect your Netgear AC1750 EX6250 repeater to your main router.
  2. On your laptop or smartphone, open any web browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.
  3. In the address bar, type 192.168.1.250 and press the “Enter” key.
  4. When the Netgear EX6250 setup login box appears, enter your username and password.
  5. After signing in to the Netgear Genie dashboard, select the FastLane option from the menu.
  6. Choose one of the FastLane modes:
    • Device-to-extender on 2.4 GHz and extender-to-router on 5 GHz
