Netgear EX3920 Setup using WPS

  1. Ascertain that the Netgear EX3800 range extender is powered on.
  2. For the EX3920 setup, plug the extender close to your home router.
  3. Wait for the power light to turn solid green.
  4. Press the WPS button on the Netgear EX3920.
  5. Within 1–2 minutes, press the WPS button on the router or modem.
  6. A green blinking light will appear on both the modem and the Netgear AC750.
  7. Once all lights turn solid green, the extender is successfully connected to the 2.4GHz home WiFi network.
  8. Repeat the steps to connect the extender to the 5GHz band (if supported by your router).
  9. Unplug the Netgear EX3920 extender and place it between the router and the dead zone for best performance.

Reset Netgear EX3920 Wi-Fi Extender

To reset your EX3920 wifi extender, you need to check first if your extender has a proper power supply and the Power LED on the Netgear EX3920 is solid green.

  1. You need to look on the left side of the Netgear EX3920 extender.
  2. There you can see two buttons — one will be ON/OFF and another will be WPS.
  3. Above the WPS button, between the small triangles,
  4. You will see a small circle — that is the Reset hole for your EX3920.
  5. Grab an object like a pen or paper clip.
  6. Now insert it into the Reset hole and hold it down for a few seconds.
  7. Release it and wait for the Power light to turn green.
